"'Can You?' is inspired by diverse themes; from Kanye West's "I Am Picasso and Steve Jobs" rant, to Sofia Coppola's film The Bling Ring, and the treatment of the last Inca emperor, Atahualpa, at the hands of the conquistadores. It's a tongue-in-cheek critique of late capitalism's obsession with the validation that luxury items can bring."
